The Midland Ki Federation is the umbrella organization
for a number of Ki Society USA dojos in
central USA, Canada and Brazil. MKF was founded in 1983 by
Koichi Kashiwaya Sensei, 8th Dan and Okuden
in Ki Development.
These pages are meant to be a source of information
for Ki Society members and all Aikido students interested in Ki Society
events, workshops and training related matters. They are also intended
to be a primary source of helpful information, requirements and
guidelines for the instructors of Midland Ki Federation member dojos.
Midland Ki Federation supports the growth of member
dojos (schools) and promotes Ki Society training in the United States,
Canada, Brazil and elsewhere. We promote the growth of our dojo-members
and the continuing development of their instructors and students.
Midland Ki Federation helps strengthen the connections between our
member schools, and between those schools and Ki Society Headquarters
(Shinshin Toitsu Aikidokai) in Japan. The Midland Ki Federation Chief
Instructor, Koichi Kashiwaya Sensei, is our primary agent for instructor
training, and for our connection to Ki Society Headquarters. His work is
central to the mission of Midland Ki Federation.
